Quick facts about LMU’s Master Plan:

  • Shape LMU’s improvement and modernization over the next 20 years
  • Will not increase LMU’s campus footprint or student enrollment cap. Buildings will not exceed 75 feet in height
  • Calls for a cutting-edge Life Sciences center as the first new building
  • Provides new, apartment-style student housing and raises the proportion of students living on campus from 60% to 75%
  • Adds nearly 5 acres of outdoor athletic facilities
  • Increases on-campus parking by 609 spaces
  • Reduces LMU’s energy and natural-gas consumption on a square footage basis by 10% or more
  • Will generate an estimated $1.7 billion and more than 15,000 jobs for Los Angeles County
